Despite the odds, he continues to defy expectations and is currently still in treatment every four weeks, determined to make the most of every precious moment.
During this arduous journey, Ruben faced additional heartbreak when his eleven-year-old granddaughter, Ruby, tragically passed away. And just a month later, he experienced the loss of his mother. These devastating events tested his strength and resilience like never before.
